The Project Designer supports the housing department by designing, managing, and producing architectural documents and materials. This role works closely with Project Architects and Project Managers, contributing to all phases of project development, from site documentation and design to construction documents and client coordination. The position offers an opportunity to grow within a nationally recognized, multidisciplinary design practice focused on education, housing, and workplace projects, with a core mission to positively impact lives through meaningful design.
Responsibilities
This role is based in an office environment within a collaborative, multidisciplinary design firm of more than 120 professionals. Team members work closely with colleagues in architecture, interior design, structural engineering, landscape architecture, graphic design, planning, and civil engineering. The position involves regular use of design and documentation software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and SketchUp, as well as standard office productivity tools. Work is primarily performed in a professional studio setting, with occasional site visits to document existing buildings and conditions. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.84 - $38.46/hr.
