Project Coordinator (Operations & Logistics)

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to oversee daily operations and physical organization of our warehouse facility. This is a “player-coach” role designed for an aspiring project manager who is comfortable balancing administrative coordination with hands-on work.
In this role, you will serve as the primary on-site lead: ensuring the warehouse remains organized, contractors are effectively managed, and materials are procured and tracked efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Site Coordination & Management
- Access Control: Serve as the primary point of contact for the facility, managing site access for employees and external partners.
- Contractor Liaison: Coordinate and supervise third-party vendors (e.g., cleaning crews, repair services), ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and safety standards.
- Scheduling: Maintain a master calendar for deliveries, site visits, and project milestones.
Hands-on Warehouse Operations
- Organization & Sorting: Physically organize inventory, move pallets/boxes, and implement labeling systems to improve efficiency.
- Site Maintenance: Perform light cleaning and ongoing organization to maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify and address potential safety hazards.
Procurement & Budgeting
- Material Sourcing: Identify supply needs (e.g., packaging, shelving, PPE) and manage the full procurement process.
- Resource Tracking: Maintain accurate inventory records of all materials and equipment on-site.
Requirements
- Physical Stamina: Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Adaptability: Comfortable shifting between administrative tasks and physical work throughout the day.
- Communication Skills: Professional and clear communicator when working with vendors and internal teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs) or Microsoft Office.
- Reliability: Strong punctuality and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Contract Terms
- Duration: Month-to-month (renewal based on project needs)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Compensation: $25/hour
