Project Control Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established, values-driven organization in the transportation industry on the hiring of a Project Control Coordinator to support their growing business. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on cost, schedule, and overall project performance, while driving visibility, accuracy, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project cost, schedule, and overall performance
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and reporting cadence
  • Coordinate across internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment
  • Manage document control, including submittals, revisions, and tracking
  • Support project accounting setup and cost allocation accuracy
  • Provide updates in project meetings and communicate performance insights
  • Support invoicing through progress tracking and documentation
  • Track project AR/AP and maintain profitability reporting
  • Assist with purchasing coordination and general project administration
  • Serve as a local point of contact for office coordination as needed
  • Support proposals, budgeting, and forecasting efforts


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting, business, supply chain or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project controls, project management, or related functions
  • Background in transportation, logistics, construction, or similar industries
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and coordination skills

Benefits Include:

  • Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 120 hours a year with an increase after tenure, 9 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave (Washington State). PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
