Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Project Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to develop interior design concepts that meet client requirements and regulatory standards. This role involves creating detailed drawings, specifications, and material selections for interior spaces, while ensuring designs align with budget constraints. The Project Architect will also coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution, conduct site visits, and stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to develop interior design concepts.
  • Create detailed drawings, specifications, and material selections for interior spaces.
  • Ensure designs meet client requirements, budget constraints, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and quality.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into designs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in sports facility design.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture or similar field.
  • 3-10+ years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong client, project management, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere and across multiple offices.
  • Strong creative design and drawing skills.
  • Graphic presentation skills.
  • Capacity for conceptual design thinking and 3D design/modeling ability.
  • Knowledge of the construction administration process.

Work Environment

The work environment is collaborative and dynamic, encouraging cross-disciplinary teamwork across multiple offices. The role involves the use of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite. The position may require site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and quality. The dress code is professional, reflecting the creative and detail-oriented nature of the work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $47.00/hr.
