The Project & Program Coordinator, Social Responsibility is a dynamic team member who supports a variety of high-impact statewide programs geared towards members, team members and the broader community. Reporting directly to the Sr Mgr Operations, they will help execute corporate social responsibility initiatives related to Random Acts of Kindness, Teacher Appreciation, volunteer opportunities, financial wellness education, impact events, and fundraisers. They will regularly multitask, handle multiple different projects at once, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining excellent collaborative relationships to help further our Sharing Success mission. What you will do here:
Project & Program Coordinator, Social Responsibility
Assist with the execution of programs, events and activities for employees, leaders and local community in collaboration with Program Managers
Support program and event planning as directed by Program Managers
Coordinate and schedule meetings with internal and external stakeholders and publish meeting notes
Assist with the coordination of non-profit grant check presentations and recognition
Coordinate internal event attendees and deliverables for event sponsorships
Support employee engagement by coordinating team builder, and volunteering to go events including purchasing supplies
Support recognition for volunteers and committee members (i.e. purchase of gift cards or merchandise and tracking)
Manage donor acknowledgement processes and maintain Foundation donor records for all gifts
Support Foundation Scholarships application process and events in alignment with our education priority as designated by the Desert Financial Foundation Board
Purchasing, Budgeting & Reporting
Support the reconciliation of monthly Foundation and CSR credit union financials
Purchase and track gift cards and coordinate with recipients for various internal and external financial wellness programming.
Provide CSR team administrative support as required, including check requests.
Research and report on corporate social responsibility efforts of other organizations, Arizona nonprofit organizations or credit unions as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
2+ years of experience in a Coordinator, Support, or Assistant role; or related experience. required.
2+ years of previous experience within a corporate environment where event planning, project management, nonprofit management, or corporate social responsibility experience were gained or other educational opportunities where similar skills may have been developed. preferred.
2+ years of experience with corporate social responsibility programs including events, fundraising and community impact programs. preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with internal leaders, business partners and external partners required.
Good time-management skill. Ability to work efficiently with a high-level of flexibility in a rapidly changing environment; handling multiple assignments/projects simultaneously required.
Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external partners with ability to prioritize action and results. required.
Ability to effectively manage projects and successfully plan and execute small events. required.
Ability to appropriately mange budgets for small programs and events. required.
Demonstrated good critical thinking and decision making skills required.
Strong analytical skills with ability to produce and analyze program and project reports including financials required.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
Ability to travel up to 20% and attend/support events outside of traditional work hours required.
