We are looking for a Plans & Strategy Lead to support a 24x7x365 operational environment that delivers integrated space, cyber, and network intelligence for an IC customer. This Plans & Strategy Lead will apply broad expertise of the Joint Planning Processes and COCOM processes to evolve customer participation and input into customer exercises and transition desired strategies into daily operations. The Plans & Strategy Lead will focus on the quality of the training the exercises provide and the follow-on implementation of that training into procedures, orders, plans, tools, and qualification products.
The selected Plans & Strategy Lead will work together with program leadership to support the contract overall and develop/deliver solutions that ensure we are performing safely, at the requisite level of quality, on schedule, and on cost.
As the Plans & Strategy Lead, you will:
  • Lead a diverse team of professionals supporting a 24x7x365 operational environment with a focus on Operations Integration, Collection Management, and Mission Management
  • Develop training standards for operations integration including intelligence gathering, Defensive Space Control, mission protection planning, exercise and tests, COOP, and enterprise operations
  • Deliver solutions to enhance and measure operator proficiency
  • Coordinate exercises and tests for operational integration to include planning and testing of operational-level readiness requirements. Support planning, execution, and completion of customer participation in exercises.
  • Identify existing and emerging exercise and/or training opportunities to support mission users
  • Provide exercise, planning, and coordination support
  • Work with other departments/agencies to gain insight into their missions, functions, and organization to identify/develop solutions that enhance services/stakeholder support
  • Ensure appropriate resource needs are met to deliver operational support during both normal operations and surge support
  • Deliver process improvement efforts to optimize operational efficiency, improve accuracy, streamline task execution, improve timeliness, and enhance the overall quality of outputs delivered by the team.
  • Support delivery of CDRL documentation, including PMR, MSR, and other customer status updates.

XYZRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Master’s degree and 11 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise; OR Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise
  • At least 7 years of experience in customer and/or DoD exercises and planning processes
  • At least 2 years of relevant ops-floor and/or project management experience working with other IC organization and Combatant Commands
  • Ability to represent the team and deliver status reports to internal and external leadership.
  • Excellent organizational and follow through skills.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Detail oriented with problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
