MajorDuties

  • Specific duties include: - Leading the MDE operations team, that includes the Examination Experience Team, as well as a team focused on applying a wide range of quantitative and qualitative techniques to collect, analyze, disseminate, and present large amounts of data that support data driven operational decisions. - Managing major program segments, organizational structures and/or functional responsibilities. - Serving as a key advisor to the Deputy Executive Director, and the Executive Director, MDE on program planning, measurement, analysis, and performance improvement. - Planning, developing, directing, and assuring the implementation of an integrated operational and strategic planning in alignment with the budgeting process. - Overseeing the refining, verifying, and validating of data integrity, which involves information system infrastructure and data governance. - Evaluating analyst's work products related to statistical and scientific methods to analyze qualitative and quantitative data for the purpose of program optimization, trend modeling, and quality assessment. - Using evidenced-based decision making, presents analyses and recommendations verbally, in writing, and graphically to team members and leadership on a routine basis. - Working closely with MDE acquisitions and budget team, and VBA Performance Analysis and Integrity (PA&I), prepares necessary documentation for VA and Congressional submissions and monthly reports which includes performance goals which are tied into program effectiveness.
