Program Manager

A growing manufacturer in the residential building products space is expanding its innovation efforts and looking for a Program Manager to help drive the next chapter of product development. This is a high impact role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex initiatives, partnering closely with technical teams, and helping move new ideas from concept into launch. What You Will Do
- Lead program execution for new and evolving product initiatives, guiding work from early planning through launch and production readiness
- Translate business goals, customer needs, and technical input into practical program plans, schedules, and deliverables
- Coordinate cross functional teams across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and leadership to keep priorities aligned
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and open issues, ensuring projects stay on schedule and key stakeholders remain informed
- Support product development activities such as design reviews, prototype planning, validation readiness, and change coordination
- Partner with internal teams and outside suppliers to balance timeline, quality, manufacturability, and cost objectives
- Help improve development processes, communication flow, and execution discipline across multiple concurrent efforts
- Serve as a steady point of coordination for complex programs, removing blockers and helping teams move forward effectively
What You Bring
- Experience leading programs tied to hardware, engineered products, electromechanical systems, or related manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of product development workflows, including concept planning, development, testing, launch preparation, and change management
- Ability to work comfortably with technical and non-technical stakeholders, turning broad goals into organized action plans
- Proven strength in cross functional coordination, issue resolution, and managing moving parts across multiple teams
- Working knowledge of engineering documentation, build planning, and structured product review processes
- Strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Comfort operating in a lean, fast paced environment where initiative and sound judgment matter
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field is preferred
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting connected products, consumer products, building products, or other physical product categories
- Exposure to supplier coordination, manufacturing scale up, or product launch execution
- Background in organizations where collaboration, ownership, and adaptability are highly valued
