Job DescriptionThe Program Control Analyst will report to the NMS Finance Manager, provide financial oversight of programs, and serve as a business partner to the Program Manager. This position shall implement Earned Value Management controls and conduct performance analysis to drive execution, manage risks & opportunities, and make effective business decisions. This individual shall be responsible for ensuring all Estimate-At-Complete (EAC) forecasts, program baseline planning, and internal / external program financial reporting are completed accurately and on time. The Program Control Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure successful program integration and drive continuous improvements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Collaborate with program manager and cross-functional partners
- Manage program month-end financial reporting activities
- Develop program baselines, and manage Estimates-at-Complete (EACs)
- Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) on active contracts
- Interpret financial and Earned Value metrics, and lead Variance Analysis reviews
- Manage and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly program financial data to internal stakeholders
- Lead program invoicing and cash collection from customers
- Carry out miscellaneous program financial analysis as required and continually assess and improve program control processes
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree with 6 years of work or equivalent work experience
- Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines, particularly in the management of large government acquisition contracts
- Proficiency in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application
- Aptitude in project forecasting and analysis within the US Defense/Aerospace industry
- Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills
- Ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Experience with Costpoint, SAP, or other equivalent accounting software
- Experience with Cobra, MPM, Open Plan, or other equivalent software
- Graduate business degree a plus
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $92180 - $156707
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
