Position Overview

Join our Line 1 Operating Team as a Line Operator, where you will play a hands-on role in our blade production process. This position involves rotating through multiple stations on a production line during an 8-hour shift, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every step—from heating and pressing to painting and inspection.

This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or general labor experience who are looking to grow with a company on an upward trajectory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production line machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Rotate through four production positions during each shift
  • Handle blades using hand tools and grabbers throughout the process
  • Perform quality inspections on finished products prior to shipment
  • Maintain consistent production flow through teamwork and communication
  • Follow safety, quality, and production standards at all times
Required Skills & Experience
  • General labor experience in production or manufacturing environments
  • Experience working on an assembly line or operating machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly
  • Team-oriented mindset with dependable work habits
Physical & Work Requirements
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and rotate between stations
  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs routinely
  • Comfort working in high-temperature environments, including near furnaces
  • Manual dexterity for safe handling of parts and tools
Work Environment
  • Clean, organized manufacturing facility
  • Production line alongside welding, shipping/receiving, and engineering departments
  • Heat exposure near furnace areas, with safety measures in place
  • First-day onboarding includes:
    • 6:00 AM orientation
    • Facility tour
    • Hands-on observation and job shadowing
Available Shifts
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.50/hr.
