Job Description

The Production Technician works in a controlled cleanroom environment to manufacture, assemble, and package BioProcess Containers in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This role follows detailed Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and technical drawings to ensure consistent product quality and accuracy. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on production work, pay close attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, assemble, and package BioProcess Containers according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures, work documents, and technical drawings to complete production tasks accurately.
  • Work efficiently on production and assembly lines while maintaining a high level of precision and consistency.
  • Perform cleanroom production activities in compliance with cGMP and company quality requirements.
  • Handle general production tasks such as material handling, basic data entry, and documentation of work performed.
  • Use hand tools and production equipment safely and correctly to complete assigned tasks.
  • Follow detailed procedures for gowning, cleanliness, and contamination control within the cleanroom.
  • Adhere to chemical hygiene practices when working with disinfectants, solvents, and isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Identify and communicate basic production or quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation and training modules using basic computer systems.
  • Support a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and using required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment for extended periods, up to 10 hours per day.
  • Basic computer skills to complete training modules and simple data entry tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed written and verbal procedures.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and follow instructions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to support quality and process consistency.
  • Commitment to and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and cleanroom discipline.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate and contribute to group production goals.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift, and to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
  • Comfort working with PPE and following chemical hygiene practices when using disinfectants, solvents, and IPA.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • One year of production experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in production, assembly, warehouse operations, or order picking is beneficial.
  • Experience in cleanroom production, assembly line work, or packaging is a plus.
  • Ability to perform frequent forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion tasks.
  • Familiarity with using basic hand tools and production equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

This role is based in a fast-paced, controlled cleanroom environment where you may work up to 10 hours per day with potential overtime. The cleanroom maintains more than 30% humidity, temperatures between 60–70°F, and ambient noise typical of a production setting. Work requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion, and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs unassisted. You will regularly use hand tools, production equipment, and basic computer systems. Personal protective equipment and gowning are required, including gloves, hair or beard nets, face covers, safety glasses, and other cleanroom attire, and you must follow restrictions such as no makeup or jewelry in the cleanroom. You will work with disinfectants, solvents, and isopropyl alcohol (IPA) while adhering to chemical hygiene and safety guidelines in a structured, process-driven production environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LEBANON, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.28/hr.
