Main Purpose of the Role

Responsible for overseeing the coordination of labor, materials, equipment, and tooling to assemble product effectively and deliver it to inventory. Ensures production is performed in full compliance with the Quality System and all procedural requirements. Promotes safe work environment and best manufacturing practices. This position is required as it stands for the next role of a line lead a spart of career growth before becoming a line supervisor.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving production goals and compliance with applicable Corporate, Divisional, and site Policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and communicates to line personnel daily while maintaining a constant line presence.
  • Monitors daily work metrics, communicates metrics status to production management and provides direction and guidance to manufacturing operators for daily output or special engineering support.
  • Manages a staffing plan by identifying resource requirements, provides justifications for additional personnel, and participates on the selection process with hiring team.
  • Provides input to supervisor on personnel attendance for payroll purposes; reviews applications for PTO, LOA for recommendations to Supervisor and HR as required.
  • Ensure the training of new manufacturing personnel to the team. Will assist in providing direct training to operators as required.
  • Performs equipment setup and corrective, preventive and calibration maintenance as necessary.
  • Maintains accurate component inventory and ensures product counts are regularly adjusted to ensure accuracy and minimize variance between system & physical counts.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED

Experience/Background

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a professional environment
  • Minimum 5 years related work experience
  • Must be fluent with multiple applications, preferably Microsoft Suite applications
  • Ability to document technical information related to manufacturing incidents and nonconformances
  • Proven record in delivering results
  • The ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships
  • Experience operating in a 21 CFR 820/ISO 13485 manufacturing environment Background in electronics manufacturing is a plus.



The base pay for this position is $17.15 – $34.25 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
