A well respected and growing food manufacturer is seeking to add a Bilingual Production Supervisor to their very talented team
Job Duties:
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely execution of manufacturing schedules.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety regulations, and company policies.
- Train, lead, and motivate production staff to achieve performance targets and uphold safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, downtime, and material usage.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments to resolve production issues and optimize workflow.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and workstations to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Assist in implementing and sustaining continuous improvement (CI) initiatives including lean manufacturing, 5S, and waste reduction efforts.
- Manage employee schedules, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
- Support and enforce company policies related to safety, sanitation, and workplace conduct.
- All other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 Years in a Supervisor setting
- Manufacturing experience (Food MFG preferred not required)
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
