The Weekend Grave Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production operations during assigned weekend shifts to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met. This role leads and supports production teams, including Line Leads and operators, while maintaining compliance with all food safety and company policies.
Key responsibilities include supervising staffing, scheduling, and training of production employees, while ensuring proper documentation and recordkeeping for HACCP, SSOP, and cGMP programs. The supervisor drives a culture focused on safety, quality, and efficiency, while maintaining a clean and organized production environment.
This position also supports employee development through onboarding, ongoing training, and performance evaluations. The Weekend Supervisor partners with leadership to align team performance with company goals and ensures consistent communication and enforcement of policies. A strong focus on continuous improvement, including Lean principles such as 5S, is expected.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting Line Leads to maintain safe and efficient operations
- Overseeing cleanliness and organization of production areas
- Conducting and verifying employee training and compliance documentation
- Promoting a positive team environment to enhance morale and engagement
- Supporting company initiatives and departmental goals
- Performing other duties as assigned
Schedule
- Weekend 12-hr Grave Shift: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- 36 hours of work, paid for 40
- Steady schedule – no rotating shifts

Pay
- $24.50/hr. starting pay + $3 weekend grave differential = $27.50/hr. to start

Requirements
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, train, and develop employees
- Strong problem solving skills and sound decision making ability
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow and enforce company policies and procedures
Technical and Functional Skills:
- Knowledge of GMP, SQF, HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense programs
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Understanding of Lean principles, including 5S
- Ability to perform basic math involving weights, measures, and inventory
Certifications:
- Ability to become certified to operate a powered hand truck and Class I forklift
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to the full shift
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead, and lift up to 55 pounds
Work Environment:
- Exposure to food allergens, including peanuts and tree nuts, as well as ingredient dust and mold
- Work performed in manufacturing and warehouse environments with varying noise levels and moving equipment
- Temperature conditions may range from -20°F to 80°F or higher depending on the work area
- May be required to work both indoors and outdoors
