Production Supervisor

Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Travel: Approximately 10% (Domestic)


Position Summary

The Production Supervisor is a key member of the Production team, responsible for supporting the repair and overhaul of customer products, component manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role leads a portion of the operations team and works collaboratively with other Supervisors to ensure the highest standards of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost control. This is a high-visibility position that requires effective communication across all levels of the organization.


Key Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce a safety-first culture at all times

• Lead and support production teams, fostering a positive and effective work environment

• Establish daily, weekly, and monthly objectives aligned with plant goals

• Organize and prioritize parts and components on the shop floor, providing expected ship dates

• Analyze production activities to evaluate throughput, capacity, and efficiency

• Oversee employee training and identify hiring needs based on operational demand

• Maintain full traceability of part numbers, serial numbers, and documentation

• Manage projects of varying scope using Lean principles to drive continuous improvement

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments to resolve operational issues

• Review and analyze technical documents and processes to identify improvement opportunities

• Ensure proper housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the facility

• Provide clear, timely, and professional communication across teams

• Support production with all required technical needs

• Remain flexible and available for overtime as required

• Perform additional duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent experience

• Demonstrated success leading teams in a supervisory or management capacity

• Ability to obtain FAA Repairman Certification

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills at a professional level

• Proficiency in math at a college level

• Strong report-writing, problem-solving, and presentation skills

• Ability to organize priorities and execute tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to pass DOT/FAA drug screening


Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of aerospace MRO or OEM supervisory experience, including aircraft engine overhaul and repair

• Working knowledge of FAA regulations and repair station operations

• Experience applying Lean methodologies, including 6S, waste elimination, and workflow optimization

• Strong mechanical and technical background across multiple disciplines

• Experience with airline, MRO, or FAA Repair Station operations

• Knowledge of Quantum ERP software

• Understanding of aircraft components, particularly rigid tube components and related systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and approved technical data

• Manufacturing environment experience

• Hands-on experience with XRF analyzers, hand tools, and measurement gauges

• Mechanically inclined mindset


Physical Requirements

• Light to moderate physical effort required

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, and move throughout the facility
