Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the production team at DynaEnergetics, ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and efficiency. This role involves implementing safety and environmental plans, driving continuous improvement efforts, and maintaining tight inventory control while collaborating closely with the Quality team to ensure error-free, high-quality products. The supervisor is accountable for team performance, ensuring adherence to operational plans, regulatory compliance (including ATF regulations), and meeting production goals while optimizing costs. Additionally, the position requires effective coordination with Supply, Logistics, and HR teams, as well as accurate data entry and inventory management within SAP to support a seamless production process.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the local representative for DynaEnergetics, ensuring alignment with company standards, maintaining a strong focus on product quality, and holding the team accountable for performance.
  • Implement and enforce safety and environmental plans in accordance with DynaEnergetics and DMC policies, as well as local and federal regulations, ensuring quality standards are never compromised.
  • Assemble, lead, and develop a high-performing, accountable team, fostering a culture of ownership and responsibility for product quality, operational efficiency, and inventory control.
  • Work closely with the Quality team to ensure all products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements, driving continuous improvement in product quality and minimizing defects.

  • Enforce HR policies in accordance with DynaEnergetics, DMC, and labor laws, ensuring team members are accountable for adhering to company guidelines and maintaining quality-driven work habits.
  • Ensure compliance with all ATF regulations while maintaining strict accountability for quality and safety in every aspect of production and inventory management.
  • Monitor operations against the budget to ensure expenditure remains within financial limits, while holding the team accountable for achieving cost-effectiveness without compromising product quality.
  • Focus on achieving competitive manufacturing costs and increasing productivity levels while holding the team accountable for upholding product quality and effective inventory control throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with Supply and Logistics teams to fulfill product requirements, address quality concerns, and hold the team accountable for identifying and resolving the root causes of any defective products that reach customers.
  • Contribute to the production of timely, relevant reports for management, highlighting quality metrics, team performance, and inventory accuracy, while actively participating in the reporting process to ensure accountability.
  • Oversee accurate data entry and inventory management within the SAP system for GLF materials and work order consumption, ensuring the team is held accountable for proper inventory tracking and maintaining adherence to quality standards throughout the production cycle.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervision of the assembly perforating guns


Qualifications

Education and/orExperience

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with 1-3 years responsible management position
  • 1-3 years oilfield experience preferred
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience with explosives, knowledge of regulations and able to pass ATF Responsible Person certification
