Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team within a high-volume industrial manufacturing facility. As a supervisor, you will oversee daily production activities involving heavy-tonnage mechanical presses and related manufacturing equipment. The role is based in Salem, OH and operates on a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of approximately 40 hourly production employees.
• Oversee daily production activities and ensure safe, efficient, and consistent output.
• Plan and coordinate labor, materials, and machine utilization to meet production schedules and customer demand.
• Monitor machine operation, quality standards, and workflow.
• Address daily production issues, downtime, and bottlenecks while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enforce safety protocols, work rules, and company policies.
• Support the manufacturing of automotive components, residential vent systems, propane tank parts, and related products.
• Train, coach, and develop employees while maintaining accountability for performance, attendance, and quality.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Work Environment:

Work on the 1st shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Enjoy quarterly bonuses based on company performance. The environment involves coil processing and stamping/slitting with mechanical presses ranging from 80 ton to 1200 ton. Provided PPE includes ear and eye protection, and steel toe boots are required. No medical certifications are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OH.

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Salem,OH.
