Production Manager

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a high‑impact Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive performance across all production lines. In this highly visible leadership role, you’ll directly manage 1st shift operations while providing oversight and leadership support for 2nd and 3rd shifts, ensuring alignment with company procedures and our documented quality management system. What You’ll Do
- Direct Operations: Coordinate daily production and manufacturing activities across all product lines to meet customer requirements and profitability goals
- Strategic Planning: Review production schedules to determine staffing needs, work procedures, and duty assignments
- Performance Metrics: Drive results related to on‑time delivery, inventory accuracy, labor efficiency, and material cost reduction
- ERP & Reporting: Maintain accuracy within the production module of the ERP system and provide monthly forecasting for open sales orders
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, coach, and manage production personnel; provide constructive feedback and development plans
- Technical Collaboration: Participate in APQP activities and recommend improvements to tooling, equipment, and manufacturing technology
- Inventory Control: Coordinate raw material, WIP, and finished goods programs to ensure cost‑effective inventory management
What You Bring
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years supervising manufacturing operations in a production environment
- Education: Four‑year technical degree or equivalent experience; coursework in management or SPC/SQC preferred
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 strongly preferred
- Communication: Ability to lead teams, manage technical discussions, and interpret complex written and verbal instructions
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (PPE required), lift up to 15 lbs, and stand/bend for up to 8 hours per day
- Travel: Willingness to perform periodic domestic travel as needed
