Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you’ll play a hands-on role preparing and assembling steel materials used in large-scale construction projects. This position involves operating production machinery, rotating through multiple tasks, and working safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, and process steel materials used in construction assemblies.
• Operate machinery and production equipment with training provided.
• Rotate between production tasks to support workflow and team efficiency.
• Work closely with teammates to meet production and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience working in manufacturing, production, or a similar role.
• Experience performing or willingness to perform fast-paced, physically demanding work.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good attitude and willingness/eagerness to learn.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience in machine operation, assembly, and fabrication.
• Knowledge of construction, framing, carpentry, and saw operation.
• Experience in yard work, site cleanup, and packing.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility that can get very hot in the summer. Training is on the 1st shift for approximately 1-4 weeks. Regular shifts are 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM or 3rd shift from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, with a $2/hour shift differential for off-shift work. Flexibility is required for 10-hour shifts, occasional Saturday work, and potential overtime hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, MO.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Washington,MO.
