Production Associate

We are seeking a Parts Sorter to support our screw machine shop. This role involves working closely with a Quality Control Inspector to sort small machined parts and separate good parts from defective ones, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Sort and inspect small machined parts alongside the QC Inspector.
• Separate non-conforming parts from acceptable parts.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the shift.
• Support quality and production flow by keeping parts organized.
• Follow basic shop and safety procedures.

• Strong attention to detail when working with very small parts.
• Good eyesight and visual acuity for identifying defects.
• Ability to sort good vs. bad parts accurately.
• Dependability and reliability, showing up on time and following instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented work.

• Basic manufacturing or shop experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience using basic cleaning tools, solvents, and equipment.
• Understanding of how cleanliness impacts inspection results and product quality.
• Willingness to re-clean or rework parts based on QC feedback.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Warwick, RI.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
