Production Associate

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Associate

Location: Traverse City, MI

Pay Range: $19 to $21 depending on shift

Shift:
6 am - 2 pm - 1st shift
3 pm - 11 pm - 2nd shift

What's the Job?

• Load and unload materials onto or into machines by pushing, pulling, lifting, or stacking, either manually or with equipment.
• Operate machinery by adjusting levers, pedals, plates, dials, and blankets as required.
• Replace and clean worn parts such as guides, cutting tools, and brushes to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Inspect materials and report defective or questionable items to the lead operator, following ISO procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure safety regulations are followed at all times.

What's Needed?

• Basic mechanical understanding and ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to follow written instructions and perform simple calculations involving fractions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Willingness to adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
