Job Title: Production Associate / Installer

Job Description

This role supports on-site installation and service projects at customer facilities across Western New York. You will work as part of a small crew to assemble and install pod systems, pallet racking, dock equipment, and mezzanines using hand and power tools. The position is well suited for hands-on individuals with mechanical aptitude who enjoy active, physical work on industrial job sites. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Install pod systems at the project location according to drawings, layouts, and instructions.
  • Assist with installation and service of dock equipment, pallet racking, and mezzanines at customer facilities.
  • Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete industrial assembly and construction tasks.
  • Follow all safety procedures, site rules, and job-site instructions throughout each project.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a 2–5 person crew to meet daily and project-based performance metrics.
  • Read and work from project drawings, layouts, and direction from supervisors to ensure accurate installation.
  • Perform general labor tasks such as material handling, staging, and clean-up to keep the job site organized.
  • Remain on your feet for 8–11 hours per day while performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs regularly.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in industrial and colder environments.
  • Comfort working as part of a 2–5 person crew on active job sites.
  • Physical ability to stand and work on your feet for 8–10 hours per day.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial assembly, construction, or general labor environments.
  • in construction, production, carpentry, or related trades.
  • Experience using forklifts or similar material-handling equipment.
  • Comfort working in non–temperature-controlled environments, especially during initial project phases.
  • Willingness to follow detailed instructions and project drawings.
  • Openness to training and learning new installation techniques.

Work Environment

This is a first-shift role, typically running from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You work primarily at customer facilities in an industrial setting, both indoors and outdoors. For at least the first four weeks, the work area is non–temperature-controlled, so conditions may be colder depending on the season. You will work in small groups, usually 2–5 people, focused on creating and installing pod systems and related equipment. The job is physically active, requiring extended periods on your feet, regular lifting, and frequent use of hand and power tools on busy job sites where safety procedures and appropriate work attire are essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
