Job Title: Cleanroom Production Operator

Job Description

Join a team that specializes in designing and molding high-quality plastic and injection molding solutions. With a focus on 2-Shot and liquid silicone molding, the team employs advanced technologies to deliver exceptional products. We are seeking ambitious general production workers to fill 15 openings, contributing to our expanding operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machines, package products, label items, and perform cycle counting.
• Visually inspect and assemble parts, ensuring they meet quality specifications and are free from critical visual and dimensional defects.
• Utilize route sheets and work instructions to ensure parts meet customer and internal requirements.
• Remove parts from injection molding machines during gate tended operations.
• Perform routine cleaning of machines and work areas.
• Account for and record production and scrap counts.

Essential Skills

• Production and general labor experience.
• Machine operation skills.
• Mechanical skills, particularly in automotive and production associate roles.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in basic math.
• Capability to stand for 8-12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SmartSheet and IQMS.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Open to traveling between two locations.
• Previous cleanroom operator experience.

Work Environment

Operate in a cleanroom environment equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. Be prepared to wear a hair net and beard net if applicable. The work is in a fast-paced setting requiring multitasking across four machines simultaneously.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Enfield, CT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Enfield,CT.
