Production Associate

Job Title: Production Associate Blender Operator $24.75/hr

Job Description

The Blender Operator will be responsible for mixing and batching raw materials used in the production of dairy products. This role involves tasks such as filling material, restocking products, and adhering to specific instructions. Operators will utilize templates to guide their mixing processes for the production line they are assigned to each week. This position requires a strong attention to detail, precision in following instructions, and taking accurate measurements while maintaining cleanliness in the workspace.

Responsibilities

• Mix and batch raw materials for dairy product production.
• Fill materials and restock products as needed.
• Follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Use templates to guide mixing processes for assigned production lines.
• Take precise measurements and maintain a clean workspace.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, mixing, and blending.
• Strong math skills and proficiency with a calculator.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. repetitively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in following instructions.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Blending or mixing experience is a plus (1-2 years).
• Experience with cleaning, batching, and machine operation.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a food processing and packaging facility which is clean and well-organized. The position involves 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule: three 12-hour shifts one week and four 12-hour shifts the following week (36 hours & 48 hours). Flexibility is needed for the rotating shift schedule. The work environment is spacious and well-lit, providing an optimal setting for productivity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elma, NY.

The pay range for this position is $24.75 - $24.75/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Elma,NY.
