Job Description:

This second-shift Production Assembler role focuses on assembling electronic components and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) in an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment. You will primarily work at a seated workstation, hand-placing small components onto printed circuit boards and assembling chassis components according to detailed work orders, schematics, and technical documentation. The position offers a contract-to-hire path with significant opportunities for growth into more advanced technical and leadership roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Work at a designated workstation, primarily in a seated position, to assemble electronic components and printed circuit boards.
  • Follow basic work orders and assembly instructions to identify where each component should be placed on the PCB.
  • Hand-place small through-hole (THT) components onto PCB boards with precision and accuracy.
  • Cut and form (prep) electronic components to the required specifications before placement.
  • Assemble chassis components using a variety of hardware and hand tools as specified in the assembly documentation.
  • Perform visual inspection of assemblies to verify correct component placement, orientation, and overall quality.
  • Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation to guide assembly and troubleshooting activities.
  • Troubleshoot basic electronic assembly issues and assist in resolving component or assembly problems.
  • Handle and work with a variety of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits (ICs), and connectors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
