The Product Owner Role
We’re hiring a Product Owner who thrives on execution.
This role is about turning product direction into shipped, high-quality features consistently. You’ll work closely with Product Leadership and Engineering to ensure our backlog is clear, our sprints are disciplined, and what we commit to actually gets delivered.
You’ll also play a key role in defining and delivering integrations that connect Jobba to the broader
ecosystem our customers rely on. If you take pride in clean execution, strong ownership, and teams that operate with clarity, this is a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
- Own backlog quality, ensuring all work is clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for development
- Break down product roadmap and direction into actionable user stories with detailed acceptance criteria and edge cases
- Run effective backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions
- Track sprint progress and proactively identify risks or delays
- Partner closely with engineering to ensure alignment on scope, sequencing, and expectations
- Support release readiness across environments (Preview, Staging, Production) with a strong focus on quality and completeness
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Success to validate requirements and incorporate real customer feedback
- Take product direction and turn it into features that are intuitive, simple, and make sense the first time a user sees them
Integrations & Ecosystem
- Define and manage requirements for third-party integrations such as accounting systems, CRM, Time Management, data providers, and automation tools
- Translate business workflows into clear integration logic including data mapping, triggers, and edge cases
- Partner with engineering to ensure integrations are reliable, scalable, and behave as expected in real-world use
- Coordinate with external partners when needed to align on data flow and expected behavior
- Ensure integrations are thoroughly tested and validated across environments prior to release
What We’re Looking For
- 4–8+ years in a Product Owner or Product Manager (execution-focused) role
- Strong experience in SaaS and Agile delivery environments
- Proven ability to manage structured backlogs and drive consistent sprint execution
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong intuition for usability, with the ability to think through workflows and catch friction before it reaches customers
- Clear communicator who creates alignment and removes ambiguity across teams
- Comfortable working with distributed or offshore engineering teams
Integration Experience
- Experience working on or supporting product integrations including APIs, third-party systems, and data syncing
- Ability to think through workflows across systems, not just within a single product
- Strong understanding of how data moves between platforms
- Proven ability to define and deliver integrations that work reliably in real-world conditions
- Experience working with third-party systems and understanding how products connect across a broader ecosystem
