Role Overview
We’re seeking a Product Management Intern to support the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of Modisoft’s digital product ecosystem — including POS, Loyalty, and customer-facing digital solutions.
You’ll work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional partners in Engineering, Design, Operations, Support, and Sales to help drive product discovery, define requirements, and improve how we deliver value to customers. This internship is designed for a highly organized, curious, and detail-oriented teammate who enjoys solving real business problems and communicating clearly.
This is a hands-on role: you won’t just observe—you’ll contribute to real initiatives that ship.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
As a Product Management Intern, you will:
- Support product discovery and research
- Help gather customer feedback, internal stakeholder input, and support trends
- Conduct competitive research and summarize findings into actionable insights
- Assist with product planning and documentation
- Draft and refine product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes
- Maintain clear documentation throughout the product lifecycle (discovery → delivery → launch)
- Partner cross-functionally to drive execution
- Participate in agile ceremonies (standups, grooming, sprint planning, retros)
- Track progress, risks, and dependencies; help keep initiatives organized and moving
- Contribute to roadmap and prioritization activities
- Help evaluate feature requests using data and structured prioritization frameworks
- Support roadmap prep with concise summaries and stakeholder-ready updates
- Analyze data to inform decisions
- Work with PMs to interpret product usage trends and operational signals
- Help define success metrics and assist with post-release learnings
- Deliver an internship capstone
- Own a scoped, high-impact project (e.g., workflow improvement, feature discovery, reporting enhancement, or customer experience optimization) with a final readout to leadership.

Ideal Candidate (Qualifications)
Required
- Seeking rising juniors/seniors and/or May 2026, Dec 2026, or May 2027 graduates
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, UX/HCI, Analytics, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable summarizing updates clearly
- Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-moving environment
Preferred
- Familiarity with product development tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
- Basic understanding of agile product delivery (sprints, user stories, acceptance criteria)
- Comfort with data tools (Excel/Google Sheets; SQL or BI tools is a plus)
- Interest in digital retail technology, POS ecosystems, loyalty programs, or B2B SaaS
Compensation: $15-$20/hour depending on qualifications
Timeline: 8 weeks, Summer 2026
