Job Description:
As a Product Management leader (PLM, Director, or Sr. Director level), you will own and play a hands-on role in defining and driving Xsight’s product portfolio. In this role you will identify business opportunities across a breadth of market segments from hyper-scalers, to cloud service providers, to OEMs, to ecosystem partners, as well as enterprise, government and public sector customers. This individual is specifically responsible for owning the lifecycle management of the product portfolio. Over time, this individual may also build and lead a team of Product Managers. This is a dynamic role, where day to day activities will change driven by the diversity of markets.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Drive product direction and roadmap for either Xsight’s DPU, programmable switches and/or software portfolio. As a PLM you are a mini-CEO that owns the total success of your products.
- Develop TAM/SAM/SOM market and customer forecasts
- Define market and product requirements for next generation products
- Collaboratively work with Xsight’s engineering teams to ensure products delivered align to market requirements.
- Develop a portfolio of ecosystem partners that will accelerate broad adoption of Xsight’s product portfolio
- Collaboratively work with Xsight’s business development, sales, and marketing teams to develop Go-To-Market plans and drive customer engagements.
- Develop, and present, sales and marketing collateral to best position Xsight’s portfolio into the target markets
- Create market and customer business plans to drive product direction, Go-To-Market initiatives, and partnership activities.
- Profile market segments and target customers creating strategic plans, playbooks and overall messaging
- Develop sales training presentations to educate the teams on product positioning and capabilities
- Bring product and solution technical knowledge into customer meetings.
- Cross-functional communication with Marketing, Sales and R&D.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline; additional MBA preferred.
- Minium of 10+ years relevant experience in the semiconductor marekt; 15+ years preferred.
- Strong understanding of data-center networking, DPU/SmartNIC trends including specific experience with programable architectures.
- Solid knowledge of fundamental technologies such as Ethernet networking, storage, and data center infrastructure and specifically in the semiconductor market. Current knowledge of AI learning and Inference architectures and the differences of Edge, Frontend, Backend and Silicon Photonics is a big plus.
- Familiarity with high-performance data center technologies including RDMA, DPDK, SPDK, NVMe, Cloud Native, Linux, SONiC, DASH and P4.
- Strong business acumen and ability to identify key customer needs and requirements.
- Leader that can work across diverse, and global teams, to deliver upon strategic goals with limited direction.
- Direct customer interaction experience, face to face and remote.
- Customer service-oriented mindset and strong communication skills, including fluency in English (written and verbal) and good listening skills
