Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to support the development and implementation of our procurement and supply chain processes. This role will be responsible for establishing a structured procurement system, improving purchasing workflows, and supporting day-to-day sourcing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and systems
- Establish and optimize purchasing workflows and internal processes
- Manage vendor sourcing, selection, and evaluation
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, finance) to support purchasing needs
- Issue purchase orders and track order status
- Maintain supplier database and procurement records
- Support cost control initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Assist in setting up procurement tools, systems, or ERP processes (if applicable)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (entry-level candidates with strong potential are welcome)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with ERP systems is a plus)
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus
- Must have valid authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience setting up procurement systems or processes
- Familiarity with vendor management and sourcing strategies
- Experience working in manufacturing or semiconductor-related industries
