Position Summary

The Procurement Manager will lead sourcing and procurement activities across Jiffy Lube International and Premium Velocity Auto, supporting a complex, multi-location automotive services platform.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will own procurement strategy, supplier management, sourcing execution, and purchasing governance across direct and indirect spend categories. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for delivering measurable cost savings, improving supplier performance, optimizing working capital, and building scalable procurement processes and analytics that support long-term growth and operational efficiency.

This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, commercially minded, operationally focused, and experienced in building strong supplier partnerships while driving accountability and financial results.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term sourcing strategies across direct and indirect spend categories.
  • Lead competitive sourcing initiatives, supplier evaluations, RFQs/RFPs, contract negotiations, and vendor selection processes.
  • Establish category management strategies focused on cost optimization, supply continuity, quality improvement, and service reliability.
  • Monitor commodity markets, supplier trends, and industry dynamics to proactively identify risks and opportunities.

Supplier Management & Procurement Operations

  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships with a focus on performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish supplier scorecards and performance metrics related to cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness, and service levels.
  • Lead supplier risk management efforts, including alternate sourcing strategies, continuity planning, and capacity assessments for critical categories.
  • Improve procurement execution across the full procure-to-pay lifecycle, including requisitioning, purchasing, delivery coordination, invoice resolution, and compliance.

Cost Savings & Value Creation

  • Develop and manage a procurement savings roadmap with clear ownership, tracking, and validated results.
  • Identify and execute initiatives that improve EBITDA, reduce total cost of ownership, and enhance working capital performance.
  • Optimize payment terms, contract coverage, pricing structures, rebate opportunities, and purchasing compliance.
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, spend analytics, and savings validation.

Governance, Analytics & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Establish procurement governance, policies, approval workflows, and negotiation standards across the organization.
  • Build procurement reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and analytics capabilities to improve visibility and decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, IT, Finance, and field leadership to align procurement initiatives with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Proven success leading supplier negotiations and delivering measurable cost savings initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, supplier governance, and purchasing controls.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations, retail, automotive aftermarket, franchise, or distribution environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with high accountability.
