The Processor plays a key role in a high-volume food manufacturing environment by loading raw materials, operating processing equipment, and mixing finished products to precise formulas. This role ensures that products meet strict quality and safety standards while supporting continuous production on a fast-paced processing line.
Responsibilities
Employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package that begins on day one of full-time employment, including multiple medical and dental plan options and vision coverage. The organization supports long-term financial well-being through a 401(k) plan with company match up to 4% and profit sharing. Additional resources such as prescription coverage, a telehealth service, an Employee Assistance Program, and voluntary benefits like accident insurance, critical illness coverage, and legal support provide meaningful support beyond the workplace. Company-paid basic life insurance at two times annual salary is provided, with the option to elect supplemental life insurance. Short-term and long-term disability benefits are offered without requiring employees to pay premiums. Pay is issued on a bi-weekly schedule, with elected benefits conveniently deducted from each paycheck. Career growth is a core focus, with preferred day-shift positions posted internally first and many lead and office roles filled from within. Employees have opportunities to move beyond frontline roles, as demonstrated by team members who have advanced from entry-level positions into supervisory and operations leadership roles. The company also values recognition and community, offering events such as picnics and food truck days, along with an employee-of-the-month program to highlight high performers.
Work Environment
This role is based in a busy food processing facility where you work closely with a team in a fast-paced production environment. You will work around continuously operating machines and processing lines, with a steady Background hum that requires the use of hearing protection in the processing bay. The area can be wet at times due to sanitation and CIP (clean-in-place) activities, including routine spray-down of equipment, so you must be comfortable working in damp conditions around industrial food-processing machinery. Standard manufacturing safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment, apply throughout the facility.
