Injection Molding Process Technician

We are partnering with a privately owned plastics manufacturer in central Indiana that continues to grow and invest in its injection molding operations. This company produces reusable plastic containers and trays for a wide range of industries and has expanded significantly over the past several years, including multiple facility expansions.

They are currently adding an Injection Molding Process Technician to their third shift team. This role offers a hands on technical environment, strong work life balance, and long term stability within a clean, well run facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes on injection molding machines ranging from 770 to 3500 tons
• Start up injection molding machines using established processes
• Adjust machine parameters to meet quality and cycle time standards
• Troubleshoot process issues and make corrective adjustments
• Start up and support linear robots using existing programs
• Make simple edits to robot programs as needed
• Set up and support auxiliary equipment including robots, hot stamping equipment, label applicators, welders, and in mold labeling systems
• Perform startup and in process quality checks
• Work closely with maintenance, tooling, and production teams to support safe and efficient operations

Qualifications

• Experience working in injection molding as a Process Technician
• Experience with linear robots
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications

• RJG or similar scientific molding training
• Experience with large tonnage presses
• Experience supporting automated or high volume molding environments
