Job: Process Operator - Shipping

Location: Mars Wrigley (Elizabethtown, PA)

Shift Schedule

4-Shift Rotation: Rotates between:

  • 4th Shift: Week Off

  • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Weekday Shifts: 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)

  • Weekend Shifts: 12-hour shifts (off every other weekend)

Description of Role:

Process Operator-Shippingis responsible for, but not limited to, unloading raw materials, packaging, loading tankers,enteringinformation into SAP, and loading and unloading inbound and outbound loads.

  • Ability to work at heights while wearing fall protection device
  • SAP transactions proficiency

What are we looking for?

MinimumRequirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing role
  • Experienceoperatinga forklift(Added- Should this be a minimum requirement?)
  • Basic analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

  • Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300lbs)

  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.

  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, andoperatein confined spaces.

  • Ability to stand and work onfeetfor extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours

  • Capable of working in hot,coldand wet conditions

  • Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing

  • Food or beverage manufacturing experience

  • Maintenance knowledge or capabilities

  • Fork liftexperience

Whatwill beyour key responsibilities?

  • Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality and drive continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for the efficient production of quality products.

  • Train andassistother associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team.

  • Conduct temperature checks, complete Critical Control Point (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Program (OPRP) checks daily.

  • Responsible for loading and unloading all inbound and outbound materials received and ensuring all products are entered into SAP correctly.

  • Maintainaccuraterecords of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks.

  • Responsible for entering truck weights from scale into material movement logbooks.

  • Responsible for filling in when there is an absence of other shipping operators.

  • Monitor and Unloading of Sugar, Corn syrup, Palm Oil, and Cocoa Butter.

  • Any ad hoc requests.

  • Filing all COA’s and bill ofladingsfor verification and audit purposes.

  • Ensure all waste inshippingdepartment is disposed ofin a timely manner.
