Job Description
• Conduct construction document reviews as required.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate process and mechanical engineering activities within multi-
disciplinary design teams across planning, design, and construction phases, including project
startup.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations and specifications related to Piping and
Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development.
• Demonstrate design experience in mechanical systems and equipment, including but not
limited to system layout, selection, and integration.
• Generate, verify, and review the accuracy of design and evaluation calculations, drawings, and
technical specifications.
• Utilize computer-aided drafting (CAD) applications to support design development and
documentation.
Basic Job Requirements
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in engineering design, estimating,
specification development, construction document preparation, and related project phases
(nuclear industry experience preferred).
• Working knowledge of applicable federal regulations (including Department of Energy Orders),
as well as state and local codes and standards relevant to mechanical engineering design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
