POSITION OVERVIEW: The Process Engineer will be responsible for clean room die and wire bonding equipment support, automated assembly process development, and some mechanical design capabilities to manufacture RF modules targeted at high reliability and space programs. The Process Engineer drives problem-solving, with the use of data to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop and maintain programming processes & tooling for automated assembly
Design mechanical assemblies and fixtures to support microelectronic assembly operations
Support all processes, equipment, and tools in a class 100 clean room environment
Review and interpret semiconductor RF performance specifications
Evaluate RF and thermal performance packaging process requirements
Provide timely support to clean room assembly technicians and operators
Develop new process Design of Experiments (DOEs) approaches with demonstrated results
Approval of end-of-project reports and Certification of Conformance
Works closely with program management to ensure customer requirements are met
When applicable, works and interfaces directly with the customer to ensure the accurate and timely exchange of information and status
Collaborate with other departments to identify risks and close operational gaps
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that improve clean room performance
Collaborate with Quality to address quality concerns
Participate in ISO9001, ISO17025, AS9100 and DLA audits
Develop good working relationships with stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure effective communication of accurate, relevant, and timely information
Prepare, submit, and present periodic reports to multiple levels within the organization

Must be a US Person (US Citizen or permanent resident – green card holder)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or commensurate demonstrated equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years working in manufacturing with semiconductors
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
Experience in a clean room production environment preferred
Prior problem-solving training and/or certifications preferred
Experience in programming automated tools for assembly applications preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with ability to communicate within all levels of the organization
Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of disciplines in a dynamic environment and motivate them to work together as a team
Self-driven, adaptable and resourceful; able to work under limited supervision
Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate vision into action
Experienced user of ERP systems (IFS, Oracle, etc.)/Advanced Planning experience
Computer and Microsoft Office literate (Word, Excel, etc.)

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
