Job Title: Process Attendant
Job Description

This position is integral to the daily operations, including limestone handling systems, kiln processing, product transporting, utilities, and ancillary processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document workplace inspections as well as stationary and mobile equipment inspections.
  • Collect samples from various points in the process to assist with quality and process maintenance and conduct daily silo measurements.
  • Report on any issues or faults on equipment in a timely manner, including creating work requests using computers and plant software as required.
  • Perform all housekeeping tasks to help maintain clean work areas and a safe working environment. Report repeat issues for proper repairs or solutions.
  • Operate mobile equipment and hand and power tools as needed to complete tasks.
  • Operate high-pressure washing and sandblasting equipment to maintain critical plant components following safety protocols.
  • Perform and document workplace, stationary, and mobile equipment inspections as needed.
  • Set up, operate, and secure equipment for power washing and sandblasting tasks.
  • Identify and replace damaged bags, remove them to proper storage, and clean up the bag house area.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in an industrial environment required

Work Environment

Candidates will work primarily outside on the mill, experiencing hotter workdays in the summer and colder workdays in the winter. The role involves operating in a team setting while also requiring the ability to work independently. The schedule includes rotating 12-hour shifts, covering day and night, weekends, and holidays, with a cycle of 3 days on and 3 days off.

This is a Contract position based out of Verona, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
