Role Summary

Cinnamon Health is seeking a contract (1099) Pharmacist with active, hands-on prior authorization experience to support workflow quality review and system validation efforts.

This role is ideal for a practicing pharmacist who regularly submits prior authorizations as part of their day-to-day responsibilities and can provide practical, real-world feedback on usability, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate pharmacy and prior authorization workflows within the Cinnamon platform
• Submit prior authorizations as part of structured quality testing activities
• Evaluate workflow accuracy, completeness, and efficiency
• Identify edge cases, integration gaps, and opportunities for optimization
• Provide clear, structured feedback to engineering and operations teams
• Document findings to support continuous system improvement
• Escalate any concerns promptly to ensure continuity of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience with pharmacy management systems and/or wholesale ordering platforms
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, compliance, and dispensing workflows
• Detail-oriented with a quality and safety mindset
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and operational teams
