Print & Digital Graphic Designer

We need someone who has a strong graphic design background in print and the digital space (websites, social media, email), who also has a familiarity with HTML and CSS coding for website tweaks and email production/coding. They will have to switch gears regularly to keep up with the marketing demands of the company and its diverse projects, and will need a generalist set of skills (e.g. vinyl fence design one day, email template the next, print mailer the following).

The incoming associate will serve as an extension of the Deputy Marketing & Promotion Manager, covering the full range of day-to-day marketing execution — with a particular emphasis on creative production. Core responsibility areas include:

A. Social Media Management & Content Creation 

• Assist with, and eventually own, day-to-day posting and scheduling across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok)
• Draft captions, copy, and hashtag strategies in the established Valor brand voice
• Produce social-first content: reels, carousels, stories, short-form video
• Repurpose long-form film and photography assets into platform-optimized social content
• Track engagement metrics and recommend content improvements based on data

B. Email Marketing 

• Design and schedule email campaigns: newsletters, sales announcements, event invites, drip sequences
• Manage list hygiene, segmentation, and basic reporting inside the existing ESP
• Build or update HTML email templates as required

C. Graphic Design & Brand Production

• Design and produce print collateral across the full range: brochures, books, flyers, folders, sales packages, invitations, signage
• Create social media graphics, story templates, and animated assets aligned to brand standards
• Prepare all files for print production: pre-press, bleeds, color profiles, vendor submission
• Enforce brand consistency rigorously across Valor corporate identity and all partner brand guidelines (Aston Martin, Roche Bobois, and future partners)
• Assist with presentation decks, event materials, and sales support design

D. Copywriting & Content Production

• Write and edit copy for email campaigns, website pages, marketing materials, and social posts
• Contribute to scripts and shot lists for video productions
• Work within the AI-assisted copywriting framework already established for Valor's brand voices
• Assist with long-form content to build Valor's brand authority and reputation as a luxury developer

E. Website Updates & Digital Maintenance

• Make content updates to Valor's website(s): text, images, listings, project pages
• Assist with landing pages for campaigns, events, and project launches
• Upload, optimize, and organize media assets for web performance

F. Event Graphics and Signage

• Design signage, invitations and other marketing collateral for our project launches and smaller in-person events
• Coordinate with vendors: printers, signage, promotional goods, A/V, event production
• Manage Purchase Orders, vendor accounts, and marketing spend tracking
• Support direct mail campaigns: design, list management, print production, mailing logistics

Computer Skills Required

Photoshop — Daily use; photo retouching, compositing, digital asset creation

Illustrator — Vector graphics, logo handling, scalable brand assets

InDesign — Print collateral, brochures, sales books, invitations

HTML/CSS (Basic) — Enables independent execution of digital updates

Email Marketing Platforms — Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar; HTML knowledge strongly preferred

Print Production / Pre-Press — Creation of press-ready files, not just visually correct layouts

Website CMS — WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, or similar platforms

Additional Required Skills

Project self-management — Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal oversight

Brand standards enforcement — Maintain strict consistency in a luxury brand environment

Social media management — Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok

Copywriting & brand voice — Clear, polished, and on-brand communication

GenAI tools (image, copy, video) — ChatGPT, Midjourney, Claude, Runway, Sora

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

Premiere Pro — Video editing for social, events, and property content

After Effects — Motion graphics, title sequences, animated social content

Photography (stills) — Events, architecture, interiors, lifestyle

Video production / camera operation — Composition, exposure, stabilization

Video editing — Walkthroughs, reels, teasers, recap videos

DaVinci Resolve — Professional color grading and finishing

Photography lighting — Studio and on-location lighting setups

Public relations / media outreach — Supports brand visibility and press coverage

Event production experience — Creative execution under live-event pressure

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges for this position vary by experience and role, typically starting from $50,000 and scaling based on qualifications up to $60,000.
