ETHOS Talent & Advisory is sourcing on behalf of a leading federal IT contractor. This is a contract role with potential for conversion to full-time employment.
The Opportunity
Join a high-impact engineering team modernizing enterprise systems for one of the largest federal agencies in the country. You will design and develop full-stack applications, build microservices, and contribute to cloud-native solutions in an Agile environment.
What You Will Be Doing
Building and maintaining Java-based applications and microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful architecture. Developing front-end components using Angular or React. Working with cloud platforms including AWS and OpenShift. Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and project managers. Mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
What You Bring
10 or more years of hands-on Java development experience. Strong proficiency in Angular or React. Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and JEE technologies. Familiarity with AWS, OpenShift, and containerization. Experience on Agile teams. Prior federal or government IT experience is a plus. US citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Location and Schedule
On-site five days per week in Woodlawn, MD. In-person interview required.
