This role is for a Principal Program Control Analyst within the Paragon Portfolio, supporting the Advanced Electronic Warfare Systems (AEWS) Product Line within the Electronic Combat Systems Business Area. This role will primarily support the Paragon EMD program.
This role will be performed in a hybrid remote format, with the individual splitting their time between working on-site at BAE Facilities (Nashua, NH) and remotely. To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must either be local to the Nashua area, or willing to relocate to the area at their own expense.
Responsibilities may include:
Contribute as trusted finance partner at program meetings and reviews
Create, maintain, and monitor program baselines utilizing Earned Value Management or another appropriate method.
Review and monitor program risks and opportunities, such as cost overruns and scheduling delays
Develop and update financial forecasts and estimates at complete
Analyze program financial performance and variances to forecasts
Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally
Support program management in all financial aspects of the program, such as baselining, forecasting, and reporting
Work with the contracts department for funding, billings, and other contractual items
Ensure compliance with internal controls while seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of work experience; alternatively, a master’s degree and 4+ years of work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Ability to develop solutions to complex problems using ingenuity & innovation
Experience communicating and presenting financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
Strong interpersonal skills to influence and lead cross-functional work teams
Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of program costs, revenue recognition, profit, cash and collections
Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer and Cobra
Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment
Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines
Experience with proposals
Understanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policies
