Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to drive the technical product roadmap across our strategic programs. This will include managing key stakeholder relationships with our internal engineering service teams to establish the product roadmap, success criteria, and key deliverables.
This requires both technical and product knowledge as you will face a broad range of requirements posed by internal and external sources with the challenge of determining the appropriate path forward. It will also require understanding the technical dependencies of a service while applying an aptitude for the customer experience. With good organization skills you will help colleagues stay focused on the right priorities while providing insights and direction to leadership.
A successful candidate will have a passion for technical product management and has strong experience defining roadmaps, launching products, prioritizing requirements, and managing cloud services lifecycle. Equally important is a proven track record of establishing positive relationships with internal, external product teams, support organizations, and executive stakeholders in all forms of communication.
- Build, develop, and lead cloud infrastructure service roadmap for OCI’s strategic programs.
- Oversee the development and delivery of products and features acting as the primary technical point of contact for our internal engineering service teams.
- Establish and execute against core KPIs for area of responsibility, ensuring strong alignment with product growth objectives and customer success metrics.
- Collaborate across organizational boundaries to drive execution on complex, cross-team initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- 5+ years of relevant hands-on product management experience within cloud or enterprise software
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- Customer Focused: Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and translate them into product requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence.
- Product Sense: Ability to understand a product, its users, the market, and apply that understanding to inform product decisions and direction.
- Proven track record of successfully shipping new products in an agile environment.
- Strategic: Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable product plans. Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
