Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Scheduler to support large-scale Capital Projects in a highly regulated environment (pharmaceutical, nuclear, or similar industries).

This role is critical in driving project success through schedule development, optimization, and risk mitigation, working closely with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules for capital projects
  • Analyze critical path and identify risks, delays, and opportunities for optimization
  • Lead planning and scheduling meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure alignment
  • Monitor progress and implement schedule recovery / mitigation strategies
  • Perform resource loading and leveling across all project phases
  • Track key milestones and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders
  • Maintain detailed documentation for schedule updates, changes, and approvals (audit-ready)
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal project requirements
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration across all project teams

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Scheduler on large-scale capital projects
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, nuclear, or other highly regulated industries preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of project lifecycle phases and construction/project execution
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze critical path, float, and resource allocation
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Project Controls methodologies
  • Background in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and audit requirements
