The Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker who can see the "big picture" before the first brick is laid? We are seeking a Preconstruction Manager to serve as a pivotal link between vision and execution. Based in Boca Raton, you will interface directly with the President and Project Executives to transform conceptual designs into comprehensive, rock-solid budgets and GMPs.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Project Success: Lead Design-Build projects from initial concept through to final contract award, ensuring every deadline is met with precision.
• Master the Details: Perform accurate quantity surveys and skin studies using Bluebeam, and develop exhaustive bid tab sheets across multiple trades.
• Bridge the Information Gap: Review drawings for completeness, draft critical RFIs, and intuitively account for scope requirements not yet fully detailed in design documents.
• Risk & Value Engineering: Act as a guardian of project health by focusing on risk management, constructability, and providing strategic cost-saving suggestions by trade.
• Collaborate & Lead: Communicate seamlessly with trade contractors, internal operations teams, and owners to ensure scope alignment and project clarity.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in Preconstruction within the construction industry.
• Education: A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
• Technical Prowess: Proficiency in Bluebeam and a deep understanding of trade-specific unit pricing and scope responsibilities.
• Analytical Intuition: The ability to interpret plans from 100% CDs down to the earliest conceptual sketches.
• Self-Management: A high level of initiative with the ability to manage complex workloads with minimal direction.

Position Details

• Location: Boca Raton, FL (Open to talent in Miami and surrounding South Florida areas).
• Compensation: $80,000 – $130,000 (Commensurate with experience).
• Classification: Full-Time.
• Flexibility: Hybrid options available for exceptional, high-performing talent.
