Preconstruction Manager – Residential, Multifamily & Commercial Construction
Location: Austin, Texas
Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits

A leading Texas-based general contractor is seeking a skilled professional to oversee preconstruction efforts across a diverse portfolio of high-end residential, multifamily developments, and select commercial projects throughout the Austin area.
The Role:
You’ll play a critical role from concept to construction start, managing:
- Conceptual and detailed estimating
- Budget development and cost planning
- Value engineering
- Design coordination with architects, engineers, and owners
- Subcontractor bidding and procurement strategy
- Scheduling and constructability reviews
- Risk assessment and permitting coordination
Project Types:
- Luxury custom homes
- Large-scale multifamily communities
- Mixed-use developments
- Retail and office spaces
- Light commercial projects
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in preconstruction, estimating, or project management
- Strong experience in residential and multifamily sectors
- Commercial project exposure preferred
- Knowledge of Texas construction markets and permitting
- Excellent budgeting and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and construction management tools
