Role Summary
The Data & AI Practice Lead will own the strategy, growth, and execution of the Data, Analytics, and AI practice across North America. This is a builder–operator role responsible for creating scalable data platform offerings, driving revenue through GTM and cross-sell motions, shaping and winning complex deals, and ensuring profitable, high-quality delivery.
Core Responsibilities
Practice Strategy & Offerings
• Define and scale market-ready Data & AI offerings across Data Platform Modernization, Cloud Data Engineering, Advanced Analytics, and AI/GenAI enablement.
• Own reference architectures, solution blueprints, pricing guardrails, and delivery playbooks.
• Build industry-aligned solution narratives and a 3–5-year practice roadmap.
Data Platform Leadership & Expertise (Key Focus Area – 1 or More Platform Expertise)
Microsoft Fabric (Must)
• Architect and deliver end-to-end Microsoft Fabric data platforms including One Lake, Lakehouse, Data Factory pipelines, real-time analytics, and Power BI semantic models.
• Lead migrations from legacy platforms to Fabric with strong governance, security, and cost optimization.
Databricks (Good to have)
• Design and implement Databricks Lakehouse solutions using Delta Lake and Medallion architecture.
• Enable ML, GenAI, MLOps, and LLMOps pipelines using MLflow and native Databricks capabilities.
Snowflake (Good To have)
• Own Snowflake data cloud architecture including ELT pipelines, Snowpark, data sharing, performance tuning, and cost governance.
GTM, Sales Enablement & Deal Shaping
• Drive account penetration, cross-sell, executive discovery, workshops, POVs, and large deal solutioning.
• Own estimation accuracy, pricing discipline, and proposal quality.
AI, Analytics & GenAI Enablement
• Build Applied AI and GenAI solutions such as RAG pipelines, AI copilots, and decision intelligence platforms.
• Integrate AI solutions natively with Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake platforms.
Delivery Excellence & P&L Ownership
• Own practice-level revenue, margin, utilization, and delivery governance.
• Ensure estimation discipline, margin protection, and high CSAT.
IP, Accelerators & Innovation
• Build reusable accelerators, templates, and solution frameworks to improve win-rate and delivery efficiency.
Team Building & Partner Ecosystem
• Build and mentor high-performing data, analytics, and AI teams.
• Lead strategic partnerships with Microsoft, Databricks, and Snowflake, including co-sell motions.
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 15–18+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, and AI with 5+ years in practice leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in at least two of: Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake.
• Proven ability to shape and win large ($5M–$20M+) transformation deals.
Success Metrics (KPIs)
• Revenue growth, pipeline, win-rate, and cross-sell penetration.
• Profitability, delivery quality, IP adoption, and team scalability.
