Practice Administrator - Private Primary Care

Must Have Requirements:


  • Must have Epic experience
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in primary care or similar setting
  • Must have front office experience
  • Financial and accounting experience required


Responsibilities


  • Provide oversight for all operational issues impacting daily clinic operations and ancillary services
  • Manage back office, billing, and front office teams along with scribes and non physician clinical staff
  • Improve operational management systems and processes while developing workflows and best practices
  • Partner with an external marketing firm to promote the organization while maintaining the company website and contributing new ideas for marketing and social media
  • Collaborate with the HR manager to establish and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems across all operational areas
  • Oversee accounts payable along with patient and insurance refunds
  • Prepare budgets and manage the practice within defined financial guidelines
  • Maintain the company checkbook and QuickBooks, enter deposits, write checks, reconcile bank accounts, and coordinate with accounting for quarterly reporting
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve access, quality, revenue, and expense control
  • Process payroll and ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Gather and report data for fiscal analysis
  • Coordinate with medical and non medical staff to ensure high quality patient care and service delivery
  • Serve as a liaison between the clinic and external agencies
  • Support the chief executive officer in developing strategic plans and operational objectives based on patient and organizational needs
  • Resolve administrative and operational challenges including facility maintenance, computer systems, and software applications


Scope & Oversight:


  • Reports to the COO
  • Looks over 30+ FTE's, including 5 direct reports.
