Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Engineer 1 / 2 / 3 / Senior) – Power Systems & Large Load Integration

Overview
We are seeking Electrical Engineers at multiple levels (Engineer 1 through Senior) to support large load interconnection studies, system reliability analysis, and grid integration. This role involves evaluating power system impacts, ensuring compliance with industry reliability standards, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Engineer 1 (Entry-Level) (0+ years)
- Assist in evaluating large load interconnection studies for accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Support power flow studies to assess system reliability
- Help communicate technical requirements to stakeholders and interconnecting entities
- Perform basic analysis of large load behavior and system impacts
- Gain knowledge of market rules, grid operations, and internal procedures
Engineer 2 (Mid-Level) (1+ years)
- Evaluate interconnection studies for compliance and accuracy
- Perform power flow studies for transmission and distribution systems
- Communicate technical and regulatory requirements to stakeholders
- Analyze large load behavior and its impact on system reliability and markets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration
Engineer 3 (Senior-Level) (3+ years)
- Perform all Engineer 2 responsibilities
- Develop tools, reports, and dashboards to enhance system visibility
- Maintain strong understanding of energy markets and large load behavior
- Support development of procedures and guidelines to improve system reliability
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, technical discussions, and training sessions
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing within teams
Senior Engineer (5+ years)
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on large load integration topics
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and system integration efforts
- Develop procedures, documentation, and best practices
- Provide training, mentorship, and technical leadership
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and industry discussions
- Drive strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals
Required Qualifications (All Levels)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
