Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army. The Army War College is the U.S. Army's most senior institution for professional military education. It educates the top echelon of U.S. military officers of all services, U.S. government civilians, and military officers from as many as 80 foreign countries in a vibrant cross-cultural environment. MajorDuties

  • Support the design, development, and execution of online curriculum for the Department of Distance Education.
  • Provide counsel to faculty and staff on instructional design and educational methodology.
  • Coordinate and support assessment tracking, certification/accreditation requirements, and faculty development for the department.
  • Engage in research and publishable scholarship that advances knowledge in curriculum design, faculty development, educational methodology, or online learning technology.
  • Contribute to the Department of Distance Education and the Army War College mission by fulfilling other duties as required.
