Growing California based law firm expanding into Washington, considered a powerhouse in the field of plaintiff's side wage-and-hour class action litigation, seeks a highly qualified Post Bar Law Clerk to join its expanding team. The Firm has a robust caseload, in federal and state courts, against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries. Focusing on the prosecution of employment class and representative actions, involving wage-and-hour, unfair business practice, discrimination, and false advertising matters. The Firm has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of thousands of employees and consumers in California. With our expansion, we intend to achieve similar success for clients we will serve in the state of Washington.


This position is part of our annual program called the “LFJ Launchpad”. The program focuses on building a cohort of talented individuals who have completed law school and have recently taken the Washington Bar Exam. As a Launchpad Post Bar Law Clerk, you will be exposed to the inner workings of the Firm, receiving detailed training and exposure in all aspects of our case lifecycle. In addition, each member of the Launchpad Cohort will be assigned to a team of experienced attorneys and supporting staff. Within this “deployment”, the Post Bar Law Clerks will gain hands-on, real-world experience supporting our clients and learning through the close alliance and mentorship of our more seasoned attorney staff.


The LFJ Launchpad is the perfect opportunity for well-qualified candidates to gain invaluable experience and exposure as a Post Bar Law Clerk while awaiting official Washington Bar results and licensure.


Hiring Criteria

  • Successful completion of Law School and sat for State of Washington Bar Examination (Pending Results).
  • Preferred: Experience in civil litigation, including experience in one or more of the following: discovery in the civil litigation context, oral advocacy and appearing in Court, motion practice, and taking/defending depositions.
  • Candidates must be able to travel occasionally.
  • A positive attitude and interest in joining a highly successful firm and collegial group of 50+ attorneys dedicated to helping those who have experienced injustice in the workplace across Washington.
