Job Title: Registered Nurse – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Location: Goldsboro, NC

Salary: $33 – $54.45 per hour

Schedule: 3×12s Days/Nights (Variable Shift)

Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled and attentive PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a reputable healthcare facility in Goldsboro, NC. This permanent opportunity is ideal for nurses experienced in post-anesthesia care, with a strong focus on patient monitoring and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures
• Assess vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness
• Administer medications for pain management and nausea control
• Identify and respond to post-operative complications
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and recovery staff
• Provide education and discharge instructions to patients and families

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state license)
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (required); PALS preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of PACU or critical care experience preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
